A layer of conductive gel is applied to the skin. The Thermage handpiece glides over the treatment area with alternating pulses of heat and cooling. Most patients describe it as a warm, deep sensation — some areas feel more intense than others. The eye treatment uses a specialized smaller tip and takes approximately 30 minutes alone.
